For a modern interpretation of the classic Parsons table, look no further than this Beaumont rectangle dining table. It shares the sturdiness of a Parsons table but with some tweaks to give it a modern twist. The legs and skirt sit flush with the edge of the table instead of being inset, and the legs themselves come through the top of the table so you can see the difference in the grain, accenting the corners. This style of table is very functional because with the legs in the corners you have a lot of flexibility on where to put chairs.
The key characteristics of a Parsons design are the corner post legs with the skirt. This structure provides a lot of strength and stability. With the legs tucked into the corners you can seat people as you like along the sides, giving lots of room for chair legs and people’s legs. While this design does make it difficult to use the corners for seating, overall it gives you a lot of flexibility on how to use the table. Where the legs meet the table top, there may be a small ridge in the table top.

Important Notes:
All of our tables are made from solid hardwood. As a natural product, each piece of wood has its own uniqueness.
- Natural wood has variation in the grain.
- Solid wood will expand and contract in different climates
- Most of our walnut has sap wood, which introduces some variance in color into the wood

Our standard shipping process involves us sending your table with a freight carrier for curbside delivery. To send your table with a carrier, we will securely pack it up in several layers of packaging, finishing it off with cardboard. We will pack your tabletop, legs, and extensions (if applicable) in different boxes, arrange for pick up and send you the tracking information. Once your table is in your local depot, the local carrier will reach out to arrange for delivery. In this case, delivery means that your table will be delivered to the end of your driveway. From here you can bring the boxes into your home and assemble the table. Assembly is generally pretty simple and we will supply all hardware and assembly instructions. Most tables can be carried in and assembled by 2 people; larger tables may require some additional hands. These shipments are typically delivered within 7-14 days of when we ship.
We also offer white glove delivery as an option for deliveries to most metro areas of the US. (if you are wondering if white glove delivery is an option in your area, please message us). For this service we blanket wrap your table, legs and extensions and send them to our white glove delivery partner in North Carolina. Again, once the table is in your local depot, you will be able to book your delivery which means that 2 people will bring your table to your home, carry it in, assemble it and remove all the the packaging. Timelines for white glove delivery typically range from 14-28 days depending on the delivery location. Message us for more specific information for your location.
Whichever delivery option you choose, you will receive a table built specifically for you. We will build, finish and pack your table which takes 4-6 weeks. After that we arrange for shipping. If you need your table sooner, we may be able to expedite production or the shipping. In this case, reach out to us and we’re happy to chat about what the options could be.
