“One of the most important steps in designing a table.”
Once you’ve got the silhouette of your table selected, you’re probably leaning toward one style or another. It might be farmhouse, it might be modern, it might be maximalism. Whatever it is, I believe that the color can make a massive difference. It’ll either push that aesthetic even further, or tone it down a bit for a more subtle feel. The swatches are all made from the same wood we build our tables from, so you can rest assured knowing you’re getting as close to the actual table as possible. When we pack samples, I love seeing what 4 colors people choose. Either it’s a bunch of really different colors (think Natural Maple alongside Blackened Walnut), or they’re super similar (like Coconut Ash and Coconut Oak) . You can get a sense for how someone thinks based on their selection.

For a table that will live with you for years to come, you want to make sure it’s right! I love seeing swatches in my own space. Not only does my lighting make a huge difference, but I also get to feel the texture of the wood and compare the color to existing furniture in my space. One of my biggest considerations is how the color of my table compares to the color of my floor. Do I want it to match and complement the floor, or do I want more contrast? Many people like having steel legs as a visual separation between the wood of their tabletop and the wood of their floors. In those cases, we also provide steel swatches so you can mix and match wood and steel colors.
