Walnut is the most distinct of the hardwoods we work with because of its unique coloring.
At Loewen Design Studios we work with 5 woods & offer a variety of finishes. Here we have our Walnut Finishes. Walnut is the most unique wood we work with. It has very distinct and beautiful coloring naturally, and each piece has its own marbling of the warm tones.
Natural Walnut
The Natural finish on walnut pulls the natural coloring out from the wood.
Blackened Walnut
The Blackened finish darkens the wood, while still showing off the variation in the walnut.
Weathered Walnut
The Weathered finish is a gray finish that mutes the typically warm tones of Walnut.
Spiced Walnut
The Spiced finish is a reddish finish to bring out the warm red tones in the walnut.
